Insurance Policy
Ember & Root works with insurance companies by providing Superbills to existing clients. In simplest terms, a Superbill is like a medical e-statement that is received via email after each session. Clients can submit it to their insurance companies for partial or full reimbursement. Although not guaranteed, we have had great success in existing clients receiving compensation. Providing your insurance information at time of intake will ensure we have the necessary information to provide you with a Superbill.
We accept Private Pay
Fully Licensed Therapists
Intake (first) session (1 - 1.5 hours): Individual, $175.00 | Couples, $200.00
All subsequent sessions (50 min - 1 hour): Individual, $125.00 | Couples, $150.00
Associate Therapists
Intake (first) session (1 - 1.5 hours): Individual, $110.00 | Couples, $140.00
All subsequent sessions (50 min - 1 hour): Individual, $80.00 | Couples, $110.00
Cash, Card and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) are accepted.
Additional Services and Costs:
Ember & Root intends to offer Group therapy, workshops and additional resources in the future. Please inquire for updates.

• One-time, 15 minute phone consultation: FREE*
*All prices listed are paid out-of-pocket. Ember & Root holds the right to decline any services listed above.
NO SHOWS AND
Cancellations
Ember & Root will charge the full fee* if client fails to attend session without warning or cancels less than 24 hours prior to start of session. Emergency cases will be noted and weighed heavily.
*Full fee is not defined by a copay or other reduced rate, but rather the cost of a full 50 min - 1 hour session, out of pocket.
CASES OF
Reduced Rates
In rare cases, Ember & Root offers a reduced rate for individual counseling of $75 per 50 min-1 hr session ($95 for the initial intake), for the first 10 sessions. Rate will be reevaluated following the completion of 10 sessions. Please call the office for further information.
All prices are subject to change. Clients will be notified in advance. Ember & Root is always open to a discussion regarding finances, especially as it pertains to your quality of care.
